About Us

ABMantra is an Indian content platform built to help everyday people live better — with reliable information on the topics that actually shape daily life in India. We started in 2022 with a simple observation: most online content either talks down to Indian readers, ignores the Indian context entirely, or is just copied from somewhere else and repackaged. We wanted to do something different. We wanted to write the way a knowledgeable friend explains things — clearly, honestly, and with genuine care for whether the information is actually useful. That is still what we do today. What We Cover ABMantra covers eight areas of everyday Indian life. We do not try to be everything to everyone — but within these topics, we aim to be the most helpful, honest and well-researched resource available in plain English. Mantra and Spirituality: This is where ABMantra began and remains our strongest area. We cover word-by-word meanings, correct pronunciation, chanting methods, and the spiritual and scientific basis behind Vedic mantras — from the Gayatri and Mahamrityunjaya to lesser-known deity-specific mantras. We also cover Hindu festivals, puja vidhi, pilgrimage guides, and the living traditions of Indian spiritual life. Our spiritual content is written by practising Hindus with genuine personal experience of the practices they write about. Finance and Money: Personal finance in India is full of jargon, fine print, and content aimed at people who already understand it. We write for people who do not — students taking their first loan, first-time investors, salaried professionals trying to understand tax, families making decisions about insurance. Every financial article is educational only and does not constitute financial advice. We always recommend consulting a qualified financial advisor for personal decisions. Lifestyle and Home: Home decor ideas rooted in Indian aesthetics, festival decoration guides, gift ideas for every occasion, […]

What We Cover

ABMantra covers eight areas of everyday Indian life.

Lifestyle and Home: Home decor ideas rooted in Indian aesthetics, festival decoration guides, gift ideas for every occasion, and everyday living advice suited to Indian homes, families, and budgets. Not Western lifestyle content with Indian labels slapped on — genuinely Indian in context and perspective.

Travel and Tourism: Destination guides, travel tips, and honest accounts of places across India and beyond. We cover both well-known destinations and places that deserve more attention. Our travel content focuses on practical usefulness — what to expect, what to budget, what to do, and what to avoid.

Food and Recipes: Indian recipes written for real home kitchens — not aspirational cooking show productions. We cover regional cuisines, festival foods, everyday meals, and kitchen tips that assume you are cooking with what is actually available in Indian markets.

Fashion: Practical fashion advice for Indian body types, budgets, and occasions. Size guides that account for how Indian clothing actually fits, style tips that work in Indian weather and culture, and product guidance without the pressure to buy premium brands.

Education and Career: Guides on courses, entrance exams, career paths, and skill-building aimed at Indian students and professionals. We write for people making real decisions about their futures — not generic advice that could apply anywhere in the world.

Technology: Plain-language explanations of apps, digital tools, online services, and technology trends that affect everyday Indian life. We assume the reader is intelligent but not technical, and we never hide behind jargon.

What Makes ABMantra Different

We are a small team based in Delhi. We are not a content farm. We are not a platform where anyone can publish anything. Every article is written, reviewed, and edited by a real person who has researched the topic carefully and, where the topic involves personal practice, has direct experience of it.

We will not publish something we do not believe is genuinely useful. That has meant publishing less than we could. We think that is the right trade-off.

We also write for India — not for a globalised, contextless version of India. When we write about loans, we write about Indian banks and Indian regulations. When we write about festivals, we write about how they are actually observed across Indian households — not a sanitised, tourism-board version. When we write about mantras, we write about living tradition, not academic abstraction.

Our Editorial Standards

Every article on ABMantra goes through the same process before it is published:

Research comes first — primary sources for spiritual content, RBI and SEBI guidelines for financial content, published academic or government sources for factual claims wherever they exist.

Writing is done by a team member who understands the topic. We do not use automated tools to generate content and we do not publish articles that read like they were written for search engines rather than human beings.

Review happens before every article goes live — checking for factual accuracy, cultural sensitivity, practical usefulness, and honest representation of any complexity or disagreement within the topic.

For spiritual and cultural content, we rely on Vedic primary sources and the guidance of qualified Sanskrit scholars. For financial content, all information is educational only. For health-related content, we do not make medical claims and we always recommend consulting a qualified doctor.

If you find a factual error in any of our articles, please write to us at abmantra1314@gmail.com. We will review it within 48 hours and correct it with a transparent note on the article if warranted.

Our Team

Bhawna Anand — Content Lead, Spirituality and Lifestyle: Bhawna grew up in a Brahmin household in Delhi where the Gayatri Mantra was the first sound every morning. She has maintained a daily mantra practice for over seven years and studied Sanskrit at Chinmaya Mission Delhi. She writes about Hindu mantras, Vedic traditions, festivals, and lifestyle. She does not write about practices she has not personally observed.

Rishabh Kumar — Content Writer, Finance and Technology: Rishabh covers personal finance, investment basics, digital tools, and technology guides for ABMantra. He writes for readers who are making real financial and practical decisions and need clear, jargon-free information to do so confidently.

Our Story

ABMantra was registered in 2022. It started as a spiritual content platform — and that spiritual foundation is still at its core. But as our readership grew, it became clear that the same readers who came to us for mantra meanings also needed reliable information about their finances, their homes, their careers, and their daily lives.

We expanded carefully. Not every topic at once and not by simply filling pages with low-effort content. We added each area only when we had a writer who could cover it to the same standard we hold our spiritual content to.

We are still growing. There are topics we do not yet cover well — and we would rather admit that than pretend otherwise. If there is an area where you think ABMantra could genuinely help you and is not yet, tell us at abmantra1314@gmail.com. We read every message.

A note on what we are not: ABMantra is not a news site. We do not cover breaking news, politics, or current affairs. We are not a product marketplace — when we mention products, it is because we genuinely believe they are useful, and we disclose any commercial relationship clearly. We are not a substitute for professional advice — for medical, legal, or financial decisions, always consult a qualified professional.
